Meet the Doctor

Dr. Derek Zid was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona in 1972. In 1990 he started undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology.

In 1996 Dr. Zid moved to Illinois to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at National College of Chiropractic (now known as National University of Health Sciences). Dr. Zid graduated with honors in 1999 with a Doctor of Chiropractic as well as a second Bachelor degree in human biology.

For five years Dr. Zid practiced in Lincoln Park until moving to his current location in Melrose Park. During his time in practice, Dr. Zid has accumulated hundreds of hours of post-doctorate education including learning effective structural correction, which is what Dr. Zid has devoted his career to accomplishing.

Dr. Zid is happily married and lives with his wife and pets in a suburb of Chicago.
